The United States Surgeon General has acknowledged a dramatic increase in opioid overdoses in recent years. With this information in mind, the Surgeon General's office released a recommendation to train and supply local communities with the overdose-reversing drug naloxone. To act on this recommendation, Innovations in Behavioral Healthcare is proud to host a free naloxone training event with the hope that this can be another step toward helping those affected by opioid addiction in Nashville. Everyone is welcome, and attendees will receive a test version of the EVZIO injector to take with them.
Join us for a free training on naloxone hosted by Foundations Recovery Network and Kaléo on August 10, 2018, at 7:30 am. The training will last 30 minutes, and you will leave with a test version of EVZIO provided by Kaléo
