Dr. Lank is a licensed psychologist and Consultant who holds a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. She has three decades of direct clinical service to include specialization in addiction medicine, substance use disorders, eating disorders, compulsive behavioral addictions and co-existing psychiatric disorders.

With a commitment to the addictions and treatment field, she has conducted original research of personality variables and alcohol abuse and dependence with DUI first offenders. Dr. Lank has taught Assessment, Diagnosis, and Treatment of Substance-Related Disorders at both the undergraduate and graduate level and has worked in a wide range of hospital, residential and outpatient treatment settings. These include: Haight-Ashbury Psychological Services, Ohlhoff Recovery Programs, Kaiser Permanente Chemical Dependency Recovery Program (CDRP) and the University of California San Francisco (USCF), Division of Substance Abuse and Addiction Medicine (DSAAM). Her work has included clinical coordination and oversight for a federal and state-approved pilot program for opiate replacement treatment supported by the Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT) and the San Francisco Department of Public Health (SFDPH).

Dr. Lank is the past two-term President of the Board of Directors for the National Council on Alcoholism and Other Drug Addictions (NCADA-Bay Area) in San Francisco, CA. and a past committee member of the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (NCADD) Diversity Committee New York, N.Y.; Co-Founder and past Education Chair for the Womens’ Association for Addiction Treatment (WAAT) of Northern California; Founder of the Lank Institute for Sexual Addiction and Recovery (LISAR); Former Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) through the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP); A Certified Trainer in Addiction Induced Trauma (AIT) and a Certified Trainer for Train the Trainer (TTT) for Jack Canfield's Success Principles.

She has and currently works as a program and treatment consultant with CRC Healthcare (Bayside Marin), Constellations Behavioral Health (Alta Mira Recovery Programs), Stillpath Recovery, Northbay Recovery, Reflections, Muir Wood,Five Sisters Ranch, Safe Passage Recovery, Avery Lane Treatment, Ferguson Behavioral Healthcare Consulting, Recovery Without Walls (RWW) and My Doctor Medical Group.

As an Addiction Media Representative she has consulted with ABC's Nightline and Good Morning America; Oprah Winfrey (HARPO Productions); A&E Intervention Casting; Showbiz Tonight; The Times of London; Los Angeles Times; San Francisco Chronicle; Seattle PI; The Almanac; Radio MD; On The Path Productions: Life, Love and Health and Body Language.

Lastly, Dr. Lank is an addictions legal expert witness and provides assessments for substance use disorders and behavioral addictions. Dr. Lank maintains a full-time psychotherapy practice in Marin County, California.
