Description

With rapidly changing conditions of the behavioral health market, the greatest asset of any organization is often prioritized the least: Organizational Health. This experiential workshop will provide participants experience and insight into how to practically apply essential and advanced skills to produce sustainable integrity for establishing and enhancing comprehensive organizational health. Participants  will examine organizational health’s historical context, common organizational behaviors, habits, and responses to systemic health challenges exhibited by treatment providers.  Participants will explore solution-oriented approaches to growing a sustainable culture of progressive organizational health. Through the lenses of Trauma Informed Care and Values Based Care principles, participants will learn pragmatic tools for understanding their organizations current needs, developing actionable plans for enhancing their organizations continued growth.

Objectives:

  1. Participants will define organizational health for behavioral health care providers
  1. Participants will identify common experiences and contextual influences of organizational health
  1. Participants will learn skills and tools for assessing, enhancing, and integrating organizational health into practice.
