Dr. Joanne Barron is a licensed Clinical Psychologist in private practice in Sherman Oaks and Westwood. Additionally, she is co-owner of Trauma and Beyond Psychological Center. Dr. Barron holds a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology and is certified as an EMDR Therapist, and a Neuro Affective Relational Model, (NARM ) practitioner and teaching team member. She is trained in the Trauma Resiliency Model, (TRM) and Interpersonal-Nuerobiology which she continues to study with Dr. Allan Schore. Invitational Intervention.  Dr .Barron has over 40 years of experience in the addictions and mental health field and is passionate about treating patients with trauma and addictions. She was involved in starting some of the first Los Angeles teen alcohol and drug programs and is the former co-owner of Insight Treatment Programs. Dr. Barron is cofounder of AYARN (Adolescent and Young Adult Resource Network) and was on the founding group members of WAAT.
