Pulling from her own experience growing up in an area of the country rife with the struggle of the opioid epidemic, Sheldon’s films portray the devastation of the cycle of drug abuse and the hope to break that cycle. Her storytelling helps give a face to those currently in the grips of addiction and those working toward recovery. Join us for a moderated conversation with Elaine McMillion Sheldon to kick off Innovations in Recovery 2019.
