Description
In this opening keynote, Tara will discuss how she faced the stigma of the disease of addiction head on and has gone on to live a full and productive life for her 11 plus years of sobriety. She will discuss how the truth sets people free from the shame they feel in this disease and removes the stigma surrounding it. Tara wants people to ‘recover out loud’ so they can find help and a solution.
